Samantha McCabeSamantha started her training at the tender age of 4 and by the time she turned 12 she knew she wanted to be a ballerina.

She then started training with Gailene Stock (currently the director of The Royal Ballet School). Then out of thousands of hopeful students she landed a place at The Australian Ballet School. She trained there for three years graduating with a diploma in dance.

At the end of her three years her aspirations and goal of becoming a ballerina came true. She was offered a contract with the Australian Ballet.

Samantha then ventured to England, whilst looking at different dance companies and dance styles, she met her husband. She was then offered a contract with English National Ballet. Her professional career has spanned over 10 years doing many famous ballets. e.g. Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Coppelia and Sleeping Beauty.

Upon falling pregnant with her first child she retired from dancing and came to live in Liverpool. It did not take her long to realise that dancing is a major part of her life and this is when she opened her school Balletworks.

Balletworks was established in 2002, and its aim is to provide a stepping stone for students who have the talent and the desire for a career in ballet or musical theatre. At Balletworks we value each child as an individual giving personal attention and care to make them feel happy and secure, whilst ensuring each child is taught technique and given the encouragement for them to fulfil their hope and dreams.

There is nothing more satisfying then seeing a student blossom into a beautiful dancer.
